Its been a while since I’ve updated my blog. Two months of idleness and I’m back with a fresh mind to blog. The past months has been quite a twist, a hectic working life and yet manage to squeeze in a wonderful trip to Taman Negara (National Park) which I’ve always wanted to go since knowing its existence back in high school days.
There’s this infamous job interview question,
“Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?”
Well, I do wish I could visualize myself somewhere up in a management position in my existing company. But the reality is that there is something that isn’t quite right around here and I’m not too sure I’m prepared to be the ‘messiah’ to make things right. I’m just too young around here to be taken seriously, too naive perhaps.
Anyway, if there’s one lesson which I should learn from my current company is that in the technology industry (or any industry for that matter), if we’re not moving forward, we’re actually moving backwards. Well, I’ve not given hope on my current company just yet, there’s still a ray of light shinning ahead. I believe I’m here in this company for a purpose. Perhaps with time, I shall make things right around here and hopefully my efforts will be appreciated.
Its been a while since I’ve make new friends and had a wonderful holiday all at the same time. Glad I’ve managed to squeeze in a refreshing holiday despite my hectic working life and took a journey back to nature in one of the oldest rain forest in the world – Taman Negara. I guess we all do need to ‘reset’ ourselves sometimes, it does really help to get ourselves back on track. And now I’m back here blogging…
